Experiences with stock Market, and how to research for stock market?

Hi I am 16 and starting to research for the stock market. I want to know how/where you research. Any tips, really anything would be helpful. I have read money management and stock books. But I need people who have experienced the stock market firsthand, the lows and highs. I need your experiences, so please share them with me. No I am not looking at this as a profession, rather a productive use of my time rather than wasting it on trivial things.
