Why do some Christians assume their divorce rate is lower than other faiths or atheists and agnostics?

My husband's fundie school told them to get married if they were tempted to have sex. Thankfully, we lived in sin before we knew if we were compatible for marriage. Rushing into marriage is a big part of that.
