Christians: would it be plausible to say that the purpose of life is to acquire the knowledge of Good and Evil?

Since Eve and Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil we have been given the task of learning this knowledge firsthand. We asked for it, now we're doing it.
